Making sense of the Pew religion survey - UPDATED


What has some folks chortling with glee over what they see as the impending demise of Christianity in the United States

I have posted links to a number of articles related to the findings of the Pew religion survey. These findings have generated a variety of reactions ranging from alarm to cautious optimism to outright delight over what is perceived as incontrovertible evidence of the disappearance of Christianity from the American scene. How widespread in the United States is the antagonism toward Christians and their faith is a matter for another study. Those hostile to Christianity, indeed to any form of religion, however, have been extremely vocal in their response to the report.
