The Anglican community of Rogavolo, North Guadalcanal, is calling upon the Anglican Church of Melanesia to support them in the construction of their church building.
Speaking to Solomon Star Thursday last week, Rogavolo Anglican Church secretary Alfred Pohe said the community had been struggling since last year to complete the church building.
“We want the Anglican authorities to come and see what we are doing and support us either financially or with building materials,” Mr Pohe said.
He said currently construction work had been put on halt because of lack of money and building materials.
“My community always respond positively to requests from the church authorities in their programmes and church activities,” he said.
“Unfortunately, when we request assistance from the church authorities no one considers our requests.” Read more
