[EV News] 4 Aug 2009--The Guardian and Virtueonline report that three clergy in same-sex relationships are among the nominees to become assistant bishops in the US Episcopal church.
The Rev John Kirkley, of San Francisco, and the Rev Mary Douglas Glasspool, of Maryland, are two of the six candidates for for the next suffragan bishop in the diocese of Los Angeles.
