New Provincial Secretary for Rwandan Anglicans

[Anglican Mission in America] November 29, 2005--In a special meeting led by Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini, leaders of the Province of the Episcopal Church of Rwanda (PEER) have selected a new Provincial Secretary. Pastor Emmanuel Gatera, a professor at Mukono University in Uganda, will take over the office that is charged with overseeing the operations of the Province, as well as leading important initiatives. Outgoing Secretary Bishop Josias Sendegeya, due to rotate out of office, was pleased with the selection. ""I hope and I believe that electing Pastor Emmanuel Gatera as the new Provincial secretary for PEER will help our church attain the apex of development."
